Building a stellar team is a fine art. Try too hard, you come across as overbearing. Don’t try at all, and in the wise words of a former CEO Ric Elias, “your culture is what you tolerate”.

At the end of the day, I’ve learned the best leaders with the most followership evoke incredible thoughtfulness. You can tell they’ve devoted a ton of energy to you and the rest of the team, and how everyone can work together.
